These fish come from areas of slow moving and shallow areas of the Amazon with lots of vegetation and places to hide. This albino strain is white and orange with a marbled pattern. As these fish are highly territorial and get quite large, they do best completely alone or in a pair. Oscars are known to be very intelligent and have lots of personality, often being called "water puppies," so they make up for needing to be the only fish in the tank.

I'm sure I would have loved one . There was a mix up and I was sent a Tiger (black) Oscar . He's a beautiful Oscar very healthy..I only had room for 1 more. This is the second time I've been sent the wrong Oscar ...not from Danbury the 1st time.
All of the fish I ordered from Danbury are healthy and good looking fish. Will definitely go to him again. He was helpful,and attentive, super informative. He answers you super fast and also sends pictures of the fish he's got . Mistakes happen ...he cares about what he does ,and it shows .
I ordered a red chili Oscar along with a copper leaopard oscar from Danbury Aquarium yesterday. I had some questions and they were answered promptly, and my fish was the next day. They both arrived healthy, and the packaging. Probably the best I have ever seen.. Not only were the bags, rubber banded, and then heat sealed, but they’re also carbon and methylene blue in the bag to that if for some reason shipping was delayed, they would be just fine. I have never had bags stay full of air like that, The packaging and insulation was just amazing. As for the fish, he is beautiful and lively, and I am so very happy. This was my first time ordering and such a pleasant surprise, and I will definitely be back .
