American Cichlid Geophagus Sveni

The fish arrived 4 days late because of weather and miraculous they were all alive and well. They did come in with ick but the 7 day shipping I’m sure didn’t help it and it was a very easy fix and they are back to being completely healthy. Other than the stress of the weather and the ick that it caused, nothing went wrong with the shipment and I was overall pleased.

I received a healthy, active little fish with good fins. It was double bagged and wrapped in thermal insulating bubble wrap inside the snug shipping carton. The inner bag was closed with a rubber band, the outer bag was heat sealed. There was a little moisture between the bags, but that may have been there when the fish was bagged for shipping. The fish acclimated quickly to my 100-gallon community cichlid tank and its new tank mates. It's showing nice colors now two weeks after I received it.

I included a not-very-good picture of the little guy so everyone can see that I need to clean my tank.
